The Greenwich Alternative Investments UCITS Hedge Fund Indices (“GAIUT”) have been designed to provide hedge fund managers and investors a daily representation of hedge fund returns using transparent, highly liquid, registered investment vehicles. Focusing on nine of the most common hedge fund strategies, the GAIUT provide access to hedge fund-like returns through the use of UCITS funds.

UCITS, the European Directive for the Undertaking of Collective Investment in Transferable Securities, have become a popular fund structure for investors and managers alike. Taking similar principles used to create the Greenwich Hedge Fund Indices (“GHFI”), the GAIUT Indices are simple average, equally weighted returns of the GAIUT underlying UCITS funds.
